Health Web Shopping
announced today that it has completed the expansion
of it's state-of-the-art fulfillment center in New
Jersey to support the company's continued growth.
The expansion will allow more room for merchandise
storage, additional picking stations, and customer
service facilities.
"We identified a need for the expansion to provide
more product for our customers because we've added
so many fulfillment partners that we just outgrew
the location in its previous form. With the doubling
of our space we will be better able to function
within the supply chain process to reduce cycle
time, improve profitability and sustain competitive
advantage" said Chris Morris, a spokesperson for the
company. At full capacity,
Health Web Shopping
will ship more than 6,000 orders per day during peak
season while creating more full-time and seasonal
jobs.
In addition to standard fulfillment activities,
which include call center services, inbound
receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and
returns processing,
Health Web Shopping offers their clients
state of the art technology to help support their
business and flexible warehousing and fulfillment
services, including fulfillment integration services
which are designed for any business selling product
on the Internet. The company has a network of
business and technical consultants to provide the
e-commerce and e-fulfillment experience to assist
customers to develop a solid deployment outline and
effective implementation strategy.
Health Web Shopping continues to grow and
expand it's operations in North America, with plans
to open a second facility on the West Coast by
mid-2009.
